Nordea is one of the 500 largest companies in the world
Nordea is ranked 476 among the world’s largest companies on the Global 500 list published by Fortune Magazine.
Every year Fortune Magazine publishes a list of the world’s 500 largest companies measured by revenue. The list will be published in the next issue of the magazine but is already available on the Fortune Magazine website.
Two oil giants top the list: Shell, which is ranked number one, and Exxon Mobil. Wal-Mart, the chain store company, is ranked third.
After having dropped out of the list in 2011, Nordea is now back, ranked 476. Among the Nordic countries Nordea is the seventh-largest company. The top spot among the Nordic companies is held by Statoil of Norway, which is ranked 40.
