One million downloads of Nordea’s apps

Downloads of Nordea’s apps for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 and iPad hit the one million mark in May.

No doubt, the future is here already and recent figures show that Nordea’s customers use the bank in a different way than before, and that the new services are becoming increasingly popular. The apps enable the customers to do their banking business whenever they like and the number of apps downloads is good proof of this change in behaviour.

Martin Karlsson, head of Mobile Banking

- Our focus on the mobile has really paid off, says Martin Karlsson, head of Mobile Banking. – Our customers have discovered and embraced our convenient and user-friendly channel. They can access the bank anywhere and anytime.

Information about the mobile solutions, including the apps, has now been incorporated in virtually all of Nordea’s marketing activities, both externally and internally. The message about mobile banking is displayedwhenever the customers meet Nordea whether in a customer meeting with the banking adviser or when logging in to Netbank to pay a bill.

Customers can go the local Nordea sites: nordea.dk – nordea.fi – nordea.no – nordea.se  to download the apps. If you do not have a smartphone, you can also surf to m.nordea.dk / nordea.no/mobil / mobi.nordea.fi / m.nordea.se. That way you will have the bank in your pocket throughout the summer.
