Nordea Shanghai extends its offering with RMB products
Nordea in Shanghai now extends its banking offering with products in the Chinese currency, Renminbi (RMB). This applies to loans, deposits, basic cash management and trade finance.
Nordea has had a wholly owned branch in Shanghai since 2008 focusing on Nordic corporate customers with operations in China. During the years the branch has gained insight into and understanding of the Chinese framework and the local market, but has only been able to offer customers banking products in foreign currency.
Now the office will also offer banking products in local currency which will provide increased predictability, support and transparency. – Being able to cover local needs will definitely improve and strengthen Nordea Shanghai’s opportunities to provide customised solutions.
