Gold for Nordea – again!
For the second year running, Nordea was ranked the best bank overall in the annual survey by Norsk Familieøkonomi.
Nordea has climbed steadily since 2006 in the surveys conducted by Norsk Familieøkonomi, an organisation which compares prices and services in different industries. – This is a major victory for us and it’s very nice to win two years running, says Gunn Wærsted, who heads Nordea’s activities in Norway. She thinks the first place proves that the bank has chosen the right strategy. – Customers must be confident that they get good advice as well as favourable terms with us. We must be competitive over time, she says. All Norwegian banks are included in the survey and are assessed over one year in terms of the prices of their products and services.
Bank for different life stages

Although the strong ranking was triggered by loans over NOK 2 million, the bank was also evaluated overall. Nordea proved its strength in most areas. – I’m very pleased that we’re ranked at the top in a survey in which especially the overall view is most important. Most people need a full-service bank that provides good service at competitive and predictable prices. The total price over time and the advice given to customers at various life stages are most important, not a snapshot of prices and interest rates, Gunn Wærsted says.
